LETTER OF SSDBiH TO FIFA
FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter
FIFA-Strasse 20,
P.O. Box 8044 Zurich,
Switzerland
10 April 2011
Dear Mr. Blatter
Re: Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Bosnia and Herzegovina World Diaspora, which represents the interests of 1.4 million members of Bosnia & Herzegovina who live outside of her borders, are disappointed at the fact that politics has been immersed into sport and has resulted in the suspension of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Knowing the situation in our homeland, it was unrealistic to expect that people who love politics more than sport would adopt the policy which FIFA and UEFA was recommending. Therefore, we give our full support to FIFA and UEFA and ask you to finally separate politics from sport in Bosnia & Herzegovina and to return the statutes according to the FIFA and UEFA minimum requirements which are being used by the whole of the world.
Bosnia & Herzegovina has a long football tradition and in this tradition, many big stars were born, exemplar footballers and sportsmen who will definitely know how to lead a Football Association without integrating politics.
We are aware you have rules for situations like this one, but we are asking you to, with one simple letter call all the football clubs in a new Football Association, all the football Clubs who want to play under the rules UEFA and FIFA. Those teams, who do not support this, let them join us once they feel a need to be part of the World and European football family.
Your Sincerely,
Zaim Pašić
Chairman
